Brand new redesigned 2016 Toyota Prius

After the Prius first went on sale in Japan in 1997, it was then introduced worldwide in 2000. Prius sales reached 1 million vehicle mark in 2008, 2 million in 2010 and 3 million in 2013. The 4th generation Prius packs over 20 years of hybrid testing plus the next wave of vehicle safety for Toyota (Toyota Safety Sense*). The Prius is as much of a futuristic vehicle as it is environmentally friendly.

Prius is low in emissions, high in environmental technology, awesome inside and out

Present and future technology meet exceptional interior quality and design. The colors and effects on the gauge cluster are very rich, display audio for Bluetooth capability and backup camera is standard to go along the smart key button/push button start.  Every button from the steering wheel to the center console is easily accessible. It’s a clean look that doesn’t look to busy or overwhelming for the driver.

Attention is in the details, but the changes should serve a purpose more than just being aesthetically pleasing right? LED headlamps and daylight running lights are safer by being brighter and illuminating the road ahead of you and lasting longer. A new aerodynamic design reduces the co-efficient drag which makes the prius even more fuel efficient.

In 2011 Toyota launched Toyota Start Safety System. The next wave of safety from Toyota is here. Toyota Safety Sense is not only making drivers and passenger’s safer but other vehicles on the road and pedestrians alike.
